By ordering from Board Game Hub, and visiting our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. This is currently in draft and likely to change when more information is available.
All items for sale on our website include VAT where appropriate. Our e-commerce service is provided by Snipcart and we accept payment using Stripe and Paypal Express Checkout. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. We hope that all goods sold by Board Game Hub are of satisfactory quality, as described, fit for purpose, lasting a reasonable length of time. If not, the goods will be classed as ‘faulty’. All purchases in the UK are protected by the Consumer Rights Act of 2015 and state that any faulty items returned within 30 days are entitled to a full refund. Our shop is based in the UK. Packages for customers on the UK mainland will be sent by Royal Mail (for under 2kg) and DPD (for over 2kg). Packages sent to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and Northern Ireland may be subject to higher shipping costs. We’re not currently accepting orders from countries other than the UK. The cost of shipping is not included in the listed prices but will be based on the total weight of products purchased and added to the total bill payable.
The customer is responsible for entering their address and post code correctly and for arranging collection from the appropriate courier company if delivery is unsuccessful. Any orders returned to Board Game Hub after delivery failure may be re-sent but the cost of shipping will need to be paid by the customer prior to attempting another delivery.
We aim to send out all packages within 3 working days for products in stock. The time to delivery will depend on the method used. Items ordered when out of stock may take longer and fulfilment of the order will depend on availability from our distributors and other partners. If we cannot fulfil an order then we reserve the right to cancel it and refund payment.
If a parcel is reported as not arriving, we reserve the right to investigate with the relevant shipping company before declaring the item lost. We also reserve the right to re-send the item instead of issuing a refund. If an offer is made to re-send but declined, Board Game Hub may deduct up to 50% of the refund in order to cover any losses. We may also refuse to serve any customers reporting a missing package until the goods are returned as undelivered. All packages have a return address included.
VAT of 20% is included in the price of applicable items. Orders from outside of the UK will have the cost of VAT removed when completing the order but may then be subject to local taxes and import fees applied on arrival. Board Game Hub Ltd is not responsible for covering these charges. By law, VAT is charged for delivery services, proportionately if some of your order is zero-rated, and there is no charge if your entire order comprises such items. We are a small retailer and cannot hold dozens of copies for games due to limitations of storage and cashflow. As such, while we hope that customers will generally find most items in stock this cannot always be possible. If an order is processed for items that are not in stock then we will endeavour to source more stock and fulfil the order. If this is not possible then you will be notified by email.
Prices and stock availability may be modified without notice.
All customers have the right to cancel an order from Board Game Hub up to 14 days after delivery. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org quoting the order number and your wish to cancel. Once cancellation has been confirmed you will be responsible for returning the product to:

The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping if necessary. Items must be returned in the exact state that they were sent by Board Game Hub; any loss in value of goods suffered during handling by the customer may be deducted from the reimbursement issued. If the order is cancelled prior to shipping then no costs will be incurred and a full refund will be issued.
An order may also be amended at any time prior to dispatch.
Some items are available for purchase by pre-order. Payment is taken at the time of ordering and we aim to ship items within 3 working days of receiving the stock. Be aware that publicised launch dates may be inaccurate and Board Game Hub is not responsible for any delays in publication and/or distribution. Pre-orders are subject to the same right to cancellation as detailed above. If we receive an order that contains both in-stock and pre-order items then we will wait until the pre-order stock has arrived before sending out the entire order. To avoid this situation, please purchase pre-order items separately.
In the event that you feel our service has been unsatisfactory, please complete the contact form on our website giving as much information as possible as to the nature of the complaint. We will aim to contact you within two working days to try to resolve any issues.

Except for any legal responsibility that we cannot exclude in law or arising under applicable laws relating to the protection of your personal information, we are not legally responsible for death or personal injury, unless caused by our negligence, or any losses that were unforeseeable or not caused by a breach of contract on our part including any supplementary costs incurred by a customer caused by delayed/lost/misrouted orders.
The terms of this contract do not affect your statutory rights.
