This is a very exciting time for Board Game Hub as there are ONLY 9 DAYS TO GO until Tranquility, our first publication, is launching on Kickstarter.

Game summary

Tranquillity is a co-operative card game for 1-5 players and is recommended for ages 8-100. A game takes around 20 minutes to play. The players must fill the sea with islands and guide the ship home before any player runs out of cards. In the world of Tranquility though, the only way to play is in silence.

Hand of cards

The aim of the game is to fill a 6x6 grid with numbered cards that ascend numerically from the bottom-left to top-right. When playing a card next to another already in the grid, you have to pay the difference between the two numbers by discarding cards from your hands. And that's virtually the whole game. But the problem is that you cannot communicate with other players. You can't tell them what you have in your hand, or where you're going to play next, or that you think putting that card there might just have lost us the game. AAARRRRGGGHHH!!!

This is designer James Emmerson's first game and features the artwork of Tristam Rossin.
